Sr Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY: Provides technical leadership of the plan, design, development of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

WORK DIMENSIONS:

· Standard Work Environment

· Majority time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)

· Travel may be required (domestic or international)

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.

· Independently designs, develops, tests and delivers high quality software/solutions.

· Contributes to analysis, solutioning and estimation of the customer requirements.

· Technically Mentors team members as needed.

· Researches and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.

· Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.

· Maintains detail knowledge of domain, software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.

· Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience. 

• 6-10 years software development experience.

HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Postilion software development/implementation experience

• Payment domain knowledge

• Hands on Agile Methodology

TECHNOLOGIES:

• OS: Windows, LINUX (added advantage)

• Core JAVA, J2EE, Servlets, Python (added advantage)

• Database: SQL Server
