Marketing Data Analyst, South Bend, IN (On-Site)

POSITION SUMMARY Works closely with manager and marketing colleagues to better leverage bank and third-party data that leads to business and customer insights and segmentations,
- Analyzes external and internal client data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management (HubSpot / Salesforce) software tools.
- Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing deliveries, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
- Understands the regulatory management and use of data, as well as audience targeting modeling.
- Creates presentations to provide market and consumer insights.
- Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for client data.
- Collaborates with IT and other data partners on how best to leverage bank and third-party data.
- Works with the Operations teams when data quality and/or errors are found in primary sources.
- Uses statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
- Works with programmers, engineers, and business line management to identify process, improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise strategies.
- Prepares final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
- Completes all compliance training related to the position.
- Five (5)+ years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis preferred.
- Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness.
- Experience building and automating management-level reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience in statistical analysis (SAS or R).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to handle concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk; use hands and fingers to operate keyboard and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
