Ltd.) is India's most trusted digital platform for diabetes and metabolic health, built by founders Gautam Chopra, Yash Sehgal and Kunal Kinalekar to close a very real gap: over 200 million Indians live with or are at risk of diabetes, and most have no continuous, affordable way to manage it.

BeatO solved this through a full-stack model combining smart connected devices (glucometers, CGMs, BP monitors), doctor- and coach-led care programs, and a range of food and supplements—all integrated into a single app experience.

BeatO's newest and fastest-growing business is its GLP-1-led weight management program—a doctor-supervised offering that combines medication, endocrinologist support, and IIHMR-certified diet coaching. The business is growing rapidly and now requires a dedicated business owner.

BeatO is hiring an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to take complete ownership of its GLP-1 Weight Management Business, currently generating approximately ₹1 crore in monthly revenue.

This is not a strategy or support role. It is a business leadership mandate where you'll run the business like your own—with full ownership of the P&L, growth targets, and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete P&L for the GLP-1 business, including revenue, margins, unit economics, and burn.
  • Drive business growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, pricing, and expansion beyond the current ₹1 crore monthly run rate.
  • Ensure quality of patient care by working closely with clinical, coaching, and operations teams.
  • Design and execute experiments across new channels, partnerships, and program formats, while quickly shutting down ineffective initiatives.
  • Work directly with the founders and leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the future of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who has already run a business or owned a business unit, rather than simply contributing to one.

Experience in GLP-1, weight management, consumer health, or healthtech is a strong advantage, but the most important quality is the ability to think and operate like a founder within an organization.

  • 5+ years of experience with ownership of a P&L or business unit
  • Comfortable balancing both strategy and execution
  • Strong understanding of financials and business metrics
  • Experience building or scaling businesses in consumer health, D2C, healthtech, or other high-growth sectors
  • Seeks ownership, accountability, and impact over hierarchy or large teams
