Independent Contractor – S-CPT-0046 AI Search (SO) & Organic Growth Strategist (SEO / AEO / GEO)/Technical VA/Senior- Advanced Level (Remote).

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

20four7VA is seeking an experienced AI Search & Organic Growth Strategist to lead the planning and execution of our organic search strategy across client websites.
This role is responsible for connecting SEO strategy with content strategy. Rather than focusing primarily on technical website development, this individual will own keyword research, content planning, on-page optimization, internal linking, and AI Search Optimization (AEO/GEO) while collaborating closely with our content, PPC, and development teams.
The ideal candidate understands how modern search is evolving beyond Google rankings into AI-powered search experiences including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google's AI Overviews.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Develop comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple client accounts
Perform advanced keyword research and keyword mapping
Build content roadmaps and page architecture based on search intent
Identify topical authority opportunities through pillar pages and content clusters
Perform competitor analysis and identify content opportunities
Continuously refine SEO strategies based on performance data

Optimize content for AI-powered search engines and answer engines
Improve visibility within Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and emerging AI search platforms
Structure content for semantic understanding using entities, FAQs, and conversational formatting
Monitor AI search visibility and citation opportunities
Collaborate with the content team to improve AI discoverability

Optimize service pages, landing pages, blogs, and resource content
Improve title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image optimization, and internal linking
Perform EEAT optimization across client websites
Identify content gaps and recommend new pages
Continuously improve existing content based on ranking opportunities

Work directly with writers to build SEO-driven content calendars
Create detailed content briefs based on keyword research
Ensure content aligns with user intent and search demand
Develop internal linking strategies across websites
Guide writers on optimization opportunities before publication

Develop strategic link-building campaigns
Create Digital PR opportunities to acquire quality backlinks
Monitor brand mentions and coordinate outreach for backlink acquisition
Identify partnership and authority-building opportunities
Support off-page SEO initiatives that improve domain authority

Partner with the development team on technical SEO initiatives
Participate in technical SEO audits and prioritize recommendations
Work alongside developers to improve Core Web Vitals, mobile-first performance, crawlability, and indexing
Coordinate Schema markup implementation and structured data improvements

Note: This role collaborates with the technical SEO team rather than serving as the primary website developer.

Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversions
Analyze organic growth trends and recommend improvements
Build dashboards and reports using SEO analytics tools
Present actionable recommendations based on performance data

Leverage AI tools to improve SEO workflows and productivity
Develop prompts and processes that improve research and content planning
Identify automation opportunities across SEO operations
Ensure all AI-assisted work meets quality standards before publication

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience
1–2+ years of AI Search Optimization (AEO/GEO) experience preferred
Strong expertise in keyword research and search intent analysis
Extensive on-page SEO experience
Experience building content strategies and topical authority
Strong understanding of EEAT principles
Experience with internal linking strategies
Experience creating content briefs for writers
Working knowledge of technical SEO concepts including Core Web Vitals, Schema markup, crawlability, indexing, XML sitemaps, redirects, and mobile optimization
Experience collaborating with developers on technical implementations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable managing multiple client campaigns simultaneously

Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
Daily Working Time: TBD EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
