Independent Contractor – B-CPT-11753 Bilingual Telehealth Medical Assistant/Business Support VA/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking a reliable, patient-focused, and detail-oriented Remote Medical Assistant to support patients during virtual medical appointments. The successful candidate will guide patients through simple diagnostic procedures using easy-to-use medical devices shipped directly to their homes.

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist patients in obtaining accurate health readings, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and EKG recordings, while ensuring they feel comfortable and properly guided throughout the process.

No previous telemedicine or EKG experience is required. Comprehensive training will be provided on all equipment, technology, and procedures.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Patient Support & Virtual Assistance

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout the testing process.
• Provide clear, step-by-step instructions to help patients properly use the equipment.
• Guide patients through basic diagnostic testing using medical devices delivered to their homes.
• Assist patients during virtual medical appointments.

Remote Diagnostic Testing

• Troubleshoot basic equipment or connectivity issues by following established procedures.
• Verify that readings and recordings are successfully captured and transmitted.
• Walk patients through recording EKG readings using designated medical devices.
• Assist patients with measuring oxygen saturation using pulse oximeters.
• Guide patients in taking accurate blood pressure readings.

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information appropriately.
• Coordinate with the appropriate healthcare team when assistance or escalation is needed.
• Follow established workflows, protocols, and instructions.
• Accurately document patient readings and test results in the designated systems.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both languages.
• Willingness to learn medical technology, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills.
• Comfortable communicating with patients through virtual platforms in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to explain step-by-step instructions clearly to patients with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail when documenting patient information and readings.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm and professional when assisting patients.

• Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
• Daily Working Time: TBD-PST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
