  • →Strategic Alignment: Translate company and customer goals into product direction. Serve as the connection between business leaders, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure alignment with the product vision and overall business strategy.
  • →Product Vision & Roadmap: Own the product roadmap and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with business goals and technical strategy. Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with business leaders to confirm the roadmap supports required business outcomes.
  • →Prioritization & Execution: Prioritize work based on business value and urgency, make trade-off decisions, and define clear objectives and success metrics. Use Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to guide prioritization and break work into actionable steps for discovery, design, development, and delivery.
  • →Voice of the Customer: Represent customer and stakeholder needs by gaining a deep understanding of workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes. Provide clear direction to IT teams and serve as a trusted partner throughout the product lifecycle.
  • →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage dependencies across teams and ensure timely, transparent communication. Tailor messaging for different audiences and support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • →Product Delivery & Validation: Lead delivery activities and ensure the team understands the product vision. Guide backlog refinement, planning sessions, and validation of completed work to confirm it meets quality and business expectations.
  • →Change Management & Enablement: Develop and execute change management and enablement plans to support new system implementations and process improvements.
  • →Backlog Management & Technical Requirements: Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for the core commerce engineering team. Translate business goals into detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and API requirements. Balance business-driven feature requests with technical modernization, cloud infrastructure upgrades, and technical debt reduction.
  • →Commerce Platform Domain Expertise: Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to shape and validate end-to-end integration patterns between the commerce platform (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris or comparable composable/enterprise commerce platform) and custom microservices and frontend applications. Partner with architects and lead engineers to evaluate the technical feasibility of functional requirements, and leverage platform knowledge to write precise technical acceptance criteria.
  • →Delivery & Agile Collaboration: Partner daily with tech leads, software engineers, QA, and Scrum Masters in standard Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Standups, Demos). Define Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) tailored to both functional outcomes and technical performance benchmarks. Support validation of technical implementations through end-to-end acceptance testing and API schema verification prior to production releases.
  • →Stakeholder Alignment & Product Strategy: Work closely with Business Product Managers, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain teams to balance technical debt remediation with business feature delivery. Communicate architectural trade-offs, technical constraints, and rollout risks clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
