Health Core Fellowship Program Coordinator

• →Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (SKA):
• →
  • →Ability to engage, inspire, and educate teenage and young adult audiences
  • →Ability to facilitate workshops with large groups
  • →Knowledge of the Community Health Worker (CHW) model, scope of practice, and core competencies
  • →Demonstrated ability to build and sustain institutional partnerships (e.g. with healthcare systems, higher education, or government agencies)
  • →Project management skills — able to run multiple concurrent workstreams (curriculum, mentorship, internships)
  • →Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • →Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, humility, and conflict resolution
  • →Experienced in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Drive); experience in creating designs on Canva is a plus
• →Education & Experience:
• →
  • →Bachelor’s degree in public health, biology, health sciences, health education, behavioral sciences or related field
  • →3–5 years of combined experience across: (a) direct work with transitional age youth of diverse backgrounds, and (b) program coordination or partnership/stakeholder management, ideally in workforce development, healthcare, or CHW-related fields
  • →Experience managing partnerships or contracts with external institutions (healthcare systems, higher education, government agencies) strongly preferred
  • →Experience in community organizing or community development is a plus
• →Physical demands:

  • →Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
  • →Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• →Availability (if appropriate): for example, must be available to work weekends

• This position is an exempt and full-time role.
• This position is primarily located in our Southeast Community Center office.
• This position reports to the Director of Health & Youth Development.
