About 50 North

For more than five decades 50 North has helped older adults and their families in Hancock County navigate some of life’s biggest transitions:

• From work to retirement: today’s retirees are vital and active, seeking to move into a new phase of life where they learn and do new things, explore new places and connect with people on a new level.
• From good health to chronic conditions: as we age, even the healthiest among us can experience chronic health conditions that require us to follow through on doctor’s orders to strengthen mobility, eat healthier meals or just move more.
• From fully independent living to receiving some support: living at home as long as possible is a goal for many adults as they climb into their 80s and beyond, and often, all that’s needed is help with things like chores and meals.

50 North’s mission is to enrich lives and support independence of people 50 and older in Hancock County. We offer solutions in these key areas: ACTIVITIES, CHORES, NUTRITION, OUTREACH AND WELLNESS.
