Marketing Intern (SEO Focused)

6sense HQ Ltd. is a rapidly expanding software company with a global clientele and a team of seasoned developers. We offer a wide range of services, including web development, managed delivery, custom software development, dedicated team solutions, and UX design. We are looking for a passionate team member to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic to our website. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and the latest trends in search engine optimization.

Position: SEO Intern
Department: Sales & Marketing
Internship Period: 4 months
Internship Opening: 1-2

Monthly Allowance: 8,000 Bdt

- Learn and assist in keyword research to identify relevant search terms under supervision.

- Support basic on-page SEO tasks such as updating meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, and content as instructed.

- Assist in identifying technical SEO issues and documenting findings for the SEO team.

- Learn to track website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

- Support link-building and off-page SEO activities as part of guided tasks.

- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices through training and self-learning.

- Assist content and marketing teams by applying SEO guidelines to assigned content.

- Help prepare basic SEO reports and maintain records of completed tasks.

- Fundamentals of search engine optimization (SEO)

- Keyword research and search intent basics

- On-page SEO optimization techniques

- Understanding of technical SEO concepts

- Using SEO tools & techniques

- Link-building strategy and backlink analysis

- SEO reporting and performance tracking

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Completed any Digital Marketing or SEO fundamentals course.

- Familiar with SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.

- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

Office Hour: 10 AM – 7 PM from Monday – Friday
