Transaction Services - Analyst

Eight Advisory was founded in 2009 in France by 8 former partners of Arthur Andersen / Big4 companies as a firm specialized in Transaction Services, Restructuring, and Transformation. Today, Eight Advisory has grown to 950+ employees (including 115 partners) in France, the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, USA (New York), Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Together with the Eight International Network, counting over 650 employees in more than 20 countries, we respond to a growing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium- and large-sized corporates, and investment banks.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Services team in Frankfurt / Munich as a Analyst.

• You will work as a fully integrated team member on planning, executing and delivering Transaction Services (primarily Financial Due Diligence in buy- and sell-side transactions) for international and national private equity and corporate clients.

• From the beginning you get responsibility on our Financial Due Diligence projects and you will get an intensive training on the job to deepen your understanding of the mechanisms of buy- and sell-side M&A processes.

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect we expect the following from our future Analyst:

• Motivated, proactive, reliable and stress-resistant team member who is eager to assume responsibility and to work independently

• Excellent German (C1) and professional written and spoken English

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized university/ business school with preferably a major in Finance, Accounting, business administration or similar

• First work experience (internship or full-time employment) in finance, preferably Transaction Services or other adjacent finance areas, such as M&A / Audit / Accounting / Controlling

• Good accounting skills (IFRS, German GAAP, etc.) and a basic understanding of business valuation

• Excellent analytical skillset and an entrepreneurial mindset

• Very good MS Excel / financial modeling skills; experience with analytical tools e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx is a plus
