Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Pulls orders and arranges shipments of parcels through Warehouse Management System (WMS); under supervision, determines the method of shipment.
- →Accurately picks and packs items for shipping.
- →Unloads and stores shipments.
- →Prepares delivery orders.
- →Unloads and breaks down freight to meet delivery schedules.
- →Unloads and breaks down freight onto pallets.
- →Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- →Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages.
- →Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- →Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- →Operates multiple style lift trucks or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- →Performs maintenance tasks including: cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and machines.
- →Cross-trains in additional responsibilities.
- →Performs additional duties as assigned by management
- →Drives company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials, including occasional transport
across international borders, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and
company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- →Highschool Diploma/GED
- →1 year of previous warehouse/maintenance experience
- →Must have a valid U.S. Passport
- →Must have a valid Drivers License
- →Able to travel to and from Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- → Experience operating a forklift/Electric Pallet Jack
