Senior Costing Engineer ( Chassis, Thermal, Battery)

1.Understand latest and cost-efficient engineering solution through technical benchmark

2.Learn the engineering excellent practices from high-performance vehicle products across the world

3.Co-work with OEM or Tiers to attend in new product development phase

4.Communicate with global technical or costing experts

5.Utilize technical insights database

1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements

2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters

3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost

4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery

1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

1. More than 5 years of experience/knowledge in the following domains, with experience in Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing, or Value Engineering:

·       Thermal Management Systems (TMS): Air Conditioning (HVAC), Cabin Heating, Water Cooling, Refrigerant Systems, Thermal Modules.

·       Chassis Systems: Suspension, Steering, Braking, Wheels & Tires, Subframes, Control Arms, Knuckles, Cross Members.

·       Battery Systems: Battery Pack, Battery Management System (BMS), Cell/Module/Pack, Cell-to-Pack (CTP), Battery Thermal Management, High-Voltage (HV) Components.

2.Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies and cost drivers for the following domains:

·       Thermal Management Systems (TMS): Brazing, Aluminum Tube/Forming, Heat Exchanger Manufacturing, Plastic Injection Molding, TMS-related Electronics, Assembly Processes, Manufacturing Costing.

·       Chassis Systems: Welding, Precision Machining, Casting, Forging, Stamping, Hydroforming, Surface Treatment/Coating, Assembly Technologies, Manufacturing Costing.

·       Battery Systems: Cell, Module & Pack Assembly, Laser Welding, Busbar Joining, Extrusion, Die Casting, Adhesive Bonding, Potting, Battery Enclosure Manufacturing, HV Electronics Manufacturing, Manufacturing Costing.

3.Experience on BOM cost calculation or VAVE from supplier chain, material and manufacturing process

4.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus

5.Bachelor or above degree in mechanical, electronics, industrial engineering or related area

6.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit

7.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit
