On site supervision of utility laborers involved with preparation of grading terrain, application of fertilizers, seeding and sodding of lawns, transplanting trees, shrubs and mowing lawns.
Perform manual labor in maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, and mowing lawns.
Provide truck and equipment security and assign tools and equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment, coordinate supplies, and make recommendations for needed supplies and equipment.
Insure landscape contractor has completed assigned work by performing onsite inspection.
Assist in supervision of tree and shrub pruning.
Identify and resolve routine employee work problems.
Assist in the installation and repair District signage.
Assist in determining lawn mowing schedules.
Perform recordkeeping associated with work orders.
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency).
Three years of directly related experience.
Valid Texas Driver's License and a driving record that meets the District’s standard.
General knowledge in landscaping and application of fertilizer.
General knowledge of the Maintenance Department’s organization and operation.
Must maintain a Texas Driver's License that meets Dallas ISD standards.
Must be able to pass the Dallas ISD random drug test.
