We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance professional to support multiple local office locations by maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. This is an on-site position based in Temple, TX. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 50 minutes) of Temple to support McLane's local facilities.

• →Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems. 
• →Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and building systems. 
• →Complete general plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks. 
• →Repair and maintain building components, including doors, walls, ceilings, flooring, and windows. 
• →Assemble, disassemble, move, and reconfigure office furniture. 
• →Conduct preventative maintenance to help ensure facility reliability. 
• →Coordinate with and oversee contractors performing work at company locations. 
• →Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
• →Support facility projects and perform additional duties as needed. 
• →Help maintain safe, clean, and functional work environments across multiple McLane facilities.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of maintenance experience.
• Experience working with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience performing general building maintenance and repairs.

• Working knowledge of electric and manual hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment.
• Understanding of electrical systems and the ability to perform electrical repairs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Ability to represent McLane's values through professionalism and service.
• Ability to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach overhead for extended periods. 
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

• Work is performed in office environments, warehouse and mechanical rooms, and outdoor settings. 
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. 
• May encounter dust, dirt, fumes, noise, chemicals, solvents, and other maintenance-related environmental factors. 
• Regular interaction with teammates, vendors, and contractors while performing duties.
