Materials Handler III

"APPLICANTS/ASSOCIATES TENTATIVELY SELECTED FOR A TDP WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO URINALYSIS TO SCREEN FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USE PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT/SELECTION."


Under minimum supervision at a warehouse management system (WMS) distribution center, performs a variety of skilled warehousing duties in either receiving, storage, order selection or shipping. Uses a turret truck or other type of lift trucks as required. Performs repetitive tasks such as put away and let down of merchandise and properly accounts for the items. Assists in the development and training of other associates on the use of the technical equipment.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis. Experience: One year progressively responsible general experience, plus a minimum of one year of specialized experience in receiving, storing or shipping merchandise and processing documents in a mechanized distribution center. Operation of materials handling equipment or motor vehicles is subject to prescribed licensing requirements.


If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting. SUNDAY - THURSDAY 2130-0600 (9:30 PM TO 06:00 AM ) SOME OT MAY BE REQUIRED DUE TO FACILITY NEEDS.

 

Must be able to complete and obtain Material Handler Equipment license as the requirement for this shift and this position.

Must have the ability to work with others, Team work and team building. (Motivation with a positive attitude.)
Must be able quickly and adjust to changes in in priorities in the work place throughout the storage operation.
Must be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions on the tasks that are given in order to be organized quickly.
