Manages the Advocate Health/Atrium Health real estate portfolio across the Greater Charlotte Region, providing strategic leadership for transaction management, portfolio optimization, and real estate planning initiatives. Leads an internal team of leasing professionals and serves as the primary point of coordination with external brokers, attorneys, developers, and business partners to execute real estate objectives.

Responsible for overseeing all real estate transactions in accordance with Advocate Health policies and governance standards, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, renewal, and administration of owned and leased properties. Ensures portfolio data, documentation, and operational information are accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational requirements.

Collaborates closely with Real Estate, Facilities Management, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to evaluate, structure, and execute real estate strategies that support clinical growth, operational excellence, and long-term organizational objectives. Oversees transaction projects from initial business case development through negotiation, approval, and implementation, including new leased locations, property acquisitions, and strategic development opportunities.

• →Leads the development and execution of real estate strategies across the region, aligning portfolio decisions with organizational growth, operational priorities, and long-term business objectives.
• →Directs real estate activities supporting strategic initiatives, including lease-versus-own analyses, site selection, identification of development opportunities, and negotiation of lease, purchase, and disposition agreements for land and facilities.
• →Oversees the management, organization, and governance of all real estate documentation associated with Advocate Health’s owned and leased portfolio.
• →Supports strategic and tactical real estate initiatives through direct leadership and execution of projects approved by senior leadership.
• →Leads and develops a team of 5-6 Leasing Specialists responsible for the administration and optimization of assigned real estate portfolios.
• →Serves as the primary real estate subject matter expert for the assigned Greater Charlotte Region (GCR) market, providing strategic guidance to operational and executive stakeholders.
• →Partners with Lease Administration to ensure the accurate maintenance and administration of all real estate agreements and supporting documentation, including leases, subleases, license agreements, letters of intent, estoppels, SNDAs, purchase and sale agreements, and internal rent allocation processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, or
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or related field.

• Typically requires 10 years of experience in Real Estate, Facilities and/or Healthcare Management.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer word processing, scheduling software and accounting spreadsheets.
• Ability to read and understand lease terms and purchase and sale agreement terms.

• Exposed to normal office environment.
• Requires travel to various sites. Will be exposed to road and weather hazards.
• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
