M-F, flexible start times (0600-0900), rotating off day. Previous GI or Pain experience a plus.
- 54 bed unit over two floors
- 1 floor is procedural (Pain, GI, IR)
- 1 floor is the OR (ENT, Ortho, Peds, General, Podiatry, GYN, & plastics)Patients are prepped and recovered in same room
No “typical” PACU area, they return to pre-op room after procedure
Pre/Post Nurses may work on both floors throughout their shift depending on case volumes
As we are an ASC, we follow strict admission criteria to ensure patients are appropriate for the ASC setting
All RNs are ACLS and PALS certified, 911 will be called in an emergency
Patients unable to discharge home are transferred to hospital via ambulance
Scrubs are provided on site.

4 GI suites
2 pain suites
2 IR suites
- over 10,000 cases yearly
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- experience in GI or Pain clinic
- 1 year of Pre/Post‑Anesthesia experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred

- →Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- →The Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre/Post Anesthesia provides safe, high‑quality nursing care to patients before and after anesthesia. This role uses the nursing process to deliver individualized, patient‑ and family‑centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes, safety, and an excellent patient experience.
