Responsibilities
~1 min readProvide optimal patient care, appropriate to the span of ages served, while efficiently operating radiographic equipment for the purpose of producing quality, interpretative radiographs or images for the provision of diagnostic information. The trainee performs while under the supervision and/or direction of Staff Radiologic Technologists and technical supervisors and in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
~1 min read- Currently in the second year of the Forsyth Technical Community College's Radiologic Science Program or other accredited Associate Degree program
- One year of clinical rotations
- Current approved BLS Provider Certification
- Schedule: Work on an as needed basis and as your college schedule allows (afternoons, evenings or weekends).
- Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Winston-Salem
- Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient care.
- Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to prioritizing of patient needs.
- Adaptable to changing work schedules
