The Labor and Delivery Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus provides exceptional care to families throughout our region, offering a supportive and compassionate environment for both low- and high-risk births. Our unit features 5 OB triage rooms, 13 labor rooms, and 2 obstetrical operating rooms, and we proudly welcome approximately 3,000 babies each year. We are fully staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an in-house Laborist, continuous anesthesia coverage, and access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This structure allows us to provide safe, seamless care for mothers and babies at every stage. Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Position is not for a nurse with 6 months or less expereince
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do:
- • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
