Vascular Sonographer

Outpatient, Mon-Fri, no call

• Sign on Bonus: This job qualifies for a $15,000 sign on bonus (New Hire), $10,000 sign on bonus (New Grad) provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 in Relocation Assistance (for qualified candidates)

• Graduate of CAAHEP vascular sonography program/or comparable experience with RVT or RVS credentials required.
• New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Competencies in: ABI, Arterial Doppler (no intervention) Carotid (no intervention) Aortic ( no intervention) , Saphenous vein mapping, Exercise ABI, DVT Upper/ Lower extremity required.

• →Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam.
• →Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to accredited vascular laboratory protocols, ensures patient comfort throughout exam.
• →Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies according to imaging protocol's as necessary to support diagnosis.
• →Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• →Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular reporting system
• →Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning in accordance with manufactures guidelines.
• →Enters charges into electronic medical record.
