Quality Technologist/Lab Assistant

Chance Aluminum, based in Williamsport, PA, focuses on aluminum production as the domestic supplier for AA Metals, a Florida-based master distributor with global operations in the United States, Columbia, Turkey, and China. We are a safety focused, industrial manufacturing facility looking to expand our team of dedicated, goal-driven individuals.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Quality Technologist/Lab Assistant at our Williamsport facility. We're looking for a results-oriented professional with an exemplary track record of success in safety and collaboration to join our team.

• →Associate degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• →2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• →Strong understanding of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and documentation practices.
• →Proficient in using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• →Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and sampling plans.
• →Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• →Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• →Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• →Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Experience in the aluminum, metals, or heavy industrial sector
• Certification in Quality Technology (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician or similar)
• OSHA 30 certification

• Tolerance for high-heat work environments and physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to stand, climb, bend, and reach throughout an 8–12-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
