Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
The position of Business Manager is responsible for the entire business and commercial structure of APOC business in Indonesia including the overall commercial strategies, developing the KOL’s network within the market which includes end-customers & key government agencies, distributors (sub-agents) appointment and management, financial planning and analysis, supply chain and operations and regulatory approvals. He/She should play an important role in sales and marketing and overall corporate management.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Drive and achieve country business targets across product categories (cartridges, analyzers, and others)
- →Lead overall commercial strategy and structure of the APOC business in Indonesia
- →Build and expand distributor networks, including recruiting and managing new distributors
- →Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and government agencies
- →Support distributors with sales, marketing, and technical guidance to accelerate the sales cycle
- →Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts through retention strategies
- →Collaborate with internal teams (CrDX, AMD, ARDX, etc.) to leverage synergies and ensure compliance
- →Train and develop internal and distributor sales teams
- →Analyze financial performance (sales, margins, SG&A) and provide insights for business growth
- →Oversee supply chain, logistics, and operations to ensure efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction
- →Drive product registration and regulatory compliance in partnership with global and local teams
- →Leverage health economics and data analytics to position solutions within sustainable healthcare model.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in laboratory diagnostics or medical devices industry
- Proven track record in business development and market expansion
- Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset
- Experience managing distributors and building partner networks
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to analyze financial and operational performance
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a regional/global environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools
