The Opportunity
This position works out of our Coyol Free Zone location in the Structural Heart Division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
As the Buyer Planner Sr, you’ll have the chance to be responsible for all areas of production planning for product lines which require a higher level of planning ability. Drives continues improvement activities and develops and implement thorough manufacturing build plans, for existing and new products, that meet defined service level and inventory targets for the division Resposible for the procurement of materials and supplies used in the manufacturing processes, it may include to provide materials support (purchasing, tracking, supplier management, and administrative support) for both production and non production items. Responsible for keeping the system clean and support all the business requirements around projects, implementations, transitions, NPI's and local facilitities plans.
Responsibilities

- →Demonstrated ability to lead the local Sales & Operations Planning process, including analyzing forecasts and data from Demand and Supply Planning, follows up the attaintment, service level, inventory health, backorders indicators to reach the company goal.
- →Plans and schedules deliveries to optimize inventories in support of production schedules/business demands by working with forecasting data/teams, planning teams, commodity teams and shipping/receiving teams.
- →Reviews purchase requisitions and confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule, reviewing quotes for accuracy and competitive strategies.
- →Follow the procedures around purchasing and planning keeping the records clearly documented and attached in each document required.
- →Ensure with inventory management/warehouse/recceiving inspection management to resolve issues.
- →Monthly inventory management of excess, obsolete, expiring inventory.
- →Zero backorder goal – when backorder exists full responsibility for backorder management, status, prioritization, communication.
- →Communicates production plan changes to the Purchasing group in a timely matter.
- →Maintain inventory levels based on forecast.
- →Production Plan attainment reporting and communication, including holding Operations accountable to the weekly build plan and notifying Finance and other stakeholders of variances to plan.
- →Set and maintain appropriate inventory levels that meet service level objectives to customers balanced with divisional DIOH (Days Inventory On Hand) goals.
- →Manage new product introductions to achieve agreed upon launch dates with targeted launch inventory levels while developing and implementing plans that minimize phase out obsolescence.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor Degree, engineering, science or closely related discipline is desired, or equivalent technical.
- 5 +years of experience in
- Progressively responsible experience in purchasing/commodity management.
- 3 years working with purchasing/commodity mgt
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
· Availability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
- Advance command of English
· 3+ year working in a highly regulated environment preferred
· Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
· Project management skills desirable.
· APICS or other Planning/Procurement related certification is a plus.
