As the Industry Leader, Abbott’s Diabetes Care business designs, develops, and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes.

The site, and its Statistics team, has been instrumental in the research, development, and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System and continues to work on a strong pipeline of products in development. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Clinicals team. In this role, you would be joining a vibrant, friendly, and diverse group, and can expect to work across a varied range of projects supporting the development of our pipeline products.

• →Routine Data Generation and Analysis: Responsible for the routine data generation and analysis within Clinicals.
• →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in and present results/updates in appropriate cross-functional teams.
• →Priority Management: Establish priorities to help achieve the team objectives in a timely manner.
• →Record Maintenance: Maintain and oversee appropriate records of activities and tasks carried out.
• →Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in analysis codes and processes to maximize efficiency.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues across the department, contribute to reports, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences. You will be organised, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Experience working with data, along with an analytical mindset and problem-solving approach, is essential. Experience using programming languages or data analysis tools would be advantageous but is not required.
