We are seeking a Director, Product Design to define and lead the design vision for the next generation of Lingo. This is a senior leadership role for a visionary design executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy, craft, and execution — someone who can set direction, inspire teams, and shape a product that has the potential to transform how millions of people understand and manage their health.
Responsibilities

~1 min read- 12+ years of experience in digital product design, with at least 5 years in a design leadership role managing teams
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
- Proven track record of defining and executing design strategy for complex, consumer-facing digital products
- Deep expertise in UX/UI design for mobile and web, with a strong eye for visual craft
- Experience building, mentoring, and scaling design teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership, strategic thinking, and measurable business impact
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tooling
- Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
- Experience in health tech, wearables, or consumer health products
- Strong understanding of agile development, design systems, and user research methodologies
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence
- Experience working in a regulated or clinically-informed product environment
