What We Offer
~1 min readThe function of the Quality Program, Manager is to provide leadership, oversight, and project management covering Abbott's Quality System. This includes division / business support and quality expertise and consulting activities.
Responsibilities

2. Provide direct business support
3. Participation in industry groups
4. Improve the effectiveness of the Abbott Quality System, including monitoring, trending and analysis of Abbott compliance performance
5. Act as a change agent for incorporating best practice methods

Requirements
~1 min readBachelors Degree, 4-year degree in a Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related life science
Experience/Background: 10–12 years of progressively responsible experience in quality, compliance, or operations within a CLIA-certified and/or CAP-accredited clinical laboratory or reference laboratory environment
Quality Leadership / Management:
-Minimum 3–5 years of people leadership experience in laboratory quality or compliance
Clinical Laboratory Quality & Compliance Management:
-Deep working knowledge of CLIA, CAP accreditation standards, and applicable state regulatory requirements
-Experience supporting lab inspections/audits (CAP, CLIA, ---FDA, Notified Body.internal audits)
-Strong expertise in quality systems: nonconformances, CAPA, proficiency testing, validation/verification, document control, and quality indicators
Project / Program Management:
-3+ years leading cross-functional quality or compliance projects, including implementation of new regulatory requirements or accreditation readiness programs
