Microbiology Analyst Chemist  (Temporary Project) - CDMX Site

This position is located in Southern Mexico City within our Established Pharmaceuticals Operations, where we are committed to bringing the benefits of trusted medicines to more people in some of the world's fastest-growing markets.

Our broad portfolio of high-quality, differentiated branded generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic care, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory health.

• Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, locally manufactured and imported finished products, process validation samples, stability program samples, special samples, and project-related samples according to the established work schedule.
• Conduct viable (air and surface) and total particulate monitoring in manufacturing areas.
• Sample and perform microbiological analyses of purified water, potable water, and compressed gases (air and nitrogen).
• Prepare laboratory investigations and Non-Conformance reports.
• Prepare culture media and solutions used in the Microbiology Laboratory.

• Education: Bachelor's degree and professional license in one of the following fields:
  • Pharmaceutical Biochemist (QBP)
  • Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist (QFB)
  • Pharmaceutical Chemist Industrial (QFI)
  • Biochemical Engineering (IBQ)
  • Biotechnology Engineering (IBT)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pharmaceutical companies or contract laboratories as a Microbiology Analyst Chemist.
• Advanced English: Technical level, including reading comprehension of analytical methodologies. MUST
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Occasional overtime on weekends and/or holidays. Half-day on-call shifts may be required.
• TEMPORARY PROJECT: 9-MONTH ASSIGNMENT
