This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Neuromodulation Division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

Our Pricing & Contract Analyst will be working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division and will help Abbott meet its revenue objectives through day-to-day administration and implementation of Pricing and Contract Strategy. This position will also play a key role on various cross-functional team projects that will require the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization. 

• Conduct pricing analysis and financial impact assessments to support pricing strategy, profitability, and revenue objectives.
• Develop, manage, and execute customer contracts and pricing agreements in partnership with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Evaluate sales opportunities and provide analytical recommendations to field sales teams and sales leadership.
• Review, negotiate, and coordinate contract terms with internal partners including Legal, Finance, Compliance, Privacy, and Risk Management.
• Analyze contract performance, sales trends, market share, and pricing effectiveness to identify opportunities and support business decisions.
• Lead pricing and contract approval processes while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• Support customer requests, RFP responses, and complex contracting scenarios through consultative problem solving and strong business partnership.
• Deliver reporting, insights, and presentations to management and key stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvement efforts to enhance contracting, pricing, and operational efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to sales teams on pricing tools, contract processes, and approved business practices.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience in business, financial, or strategic pricing analysis
• Proficient with mathematical modeling and demonstrated ability to quickly identify relevant details while working with large date sets. 
• Familiar with reading, writing, revising, and interpreting legal language.
• Proficient managing multiple projects simultaneously: organization, attention to detail, ability to work under general supervision, superior communication and presentation skills, deal with unresolved issues, and effectively communicating and maintaining rapport with Sales Representatives and Managers, National and Strategic Account Management, and all levels of personnel cross functionally.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and Salesforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of market trends and competitive pricing strategies
• Familiarity with contract law
