We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join us as a I/DD Lead Program Manager. This role will report into the Associate General Manager – Colorado. This is a Full-Time Hybrid position based in Denver, CO.
The I/DD Lead Program Manager will oversee and support the development of independent living skills while promoting choice and autonomy for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role ensures that individuals receive high-quality, person-centered services that enable them to live meaningful and productive lives.
Services are delivered in individuals’ homes or community settings of their choice, with a focus on achieving personal goals, supporting medical needs, and assisting with activities of daily living. This role combines program leadership, team management, and operational oversight to ensure strong outcomes across all service lines.
Responsibilities

Oversee all services delivered through DD, SLS, CES, and CHRP waiver programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant care

Lead new initiatives and projects to expand and strengthen I/DD service offerings

Manage and develop a team of program administrators, providing ongoing coaching and career development

Oversee the supervision and performance of a large team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)

Guide hiring, onboarding, and training processes for I/DD staff

Track and manage key compliance metrics, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory adherence

Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and internal policies

Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and organizational rules and regulations

Support additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful program operations
Requirements
~1 min read5+ years of program management or director-level experience, ideally within a fast-growing PASA
Deep knowledge of Colorado I/DD services and waiver programs
Proven experience leading and developing large, distributed teams
Experience managing residential programs under an Independent Contractor Model preferred
Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field preferred
Completion of all required PASCO competencies and trainings
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Outlook and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals receiving services and their families
Compassionate, professional approach to delivering services and support
Strong sense of accountability and ability to consistently follow through on commitments
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of state, federal, and licensing requirements for waiver services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community partners
