AKTG is a travel holding that owns Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) and Crystal Cruses (Crystal) among other brands. We offer to our guests a life well travelled, offering them incredible experiences in the most intriguing destination.
A&K has 60+ years of history while Crystal is a fast growing start up, with business that are quite different. Overall, we are spread in 40+ countries and we manage a lot of own properties (ocean vessels, river boats, yachts in Galapagos, camps in Africa …)
In the last 4 years we developed ore own information system (OneIS) that collects and manage any past, present and future bookings. OneIS integrates all a full CRM with all customers, travel advisors, agencies and consortia, MICE customers and more.
We do have solid Business Intelligence systems but we want to improve the quality and usability of our data.
For this purpose, we are looking for a Business Performance Monitoring & BI Specialist to design, implement, and maintain business performance monitoring systems that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization based on actual datawarehouse and BI systems.
The role combines business understanding, data analysis, and technical expertise to deliver reliable KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT/ BI and data teams, collecting and harmonizing requirements and driving the technical team to implement them in easy to use systems.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and implement business performance monitoring frameworks and KPI models.
- →Gather and translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
- →Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
- →Ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across reporting environments.
- →Analyze business performance trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- →Collaborate with business functions (Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, etc.) to define and monitor critical metrics.
- →Support automation and optimization of reporting processes.
- →Work closely with IT and data engineering teams on data integration and system enhancements.
- →Monitor performance of BI solutions and continuously improve usability and effectiveness.
- →Contribute to the evolution of the company’s data-driven culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Performance Management, or Data Analytics roles.
- Strong knowledge of KPI design and performance measurement methodologies.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
- Business knowledge of the travel industry and in particular Cruise Lines, tour operators, Destination management companies, Real estates.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of data modeling and reporting architectures.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in international and cross-functional environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience in performance management within service-oriented or travel-related industries.

Requirements
~1 min read- Fluent professional English (the company Language)
- Italian and Spanish as preferred additional languages
