Rigging Incharge / Team Leader with Shutdown / turnaround experience

ABIS is seeking a Rigging Incharge / Team Leader with solid experience in Shutdown and Turnaround projects to lead and manage rigging activities on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising rigging operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely completion of shutdown/turnaround tasks. This leadership role requires strong technical knowledge of rigging techniques, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

• →Lead and supervise rigging activities during shutdown and turnaround projects.
• →Coordinate with project management, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth rigging operations.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in rigging tasks.
• →Develop work plans, allocate resources, and manage schedules to meet project deadlines.
• →Conduct risk assessments and enforce safe work practices within the team.
• →Provide technical guidance and training to rigging personnel.
• →Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and prepare status reports.

• →Minimum 8-10 years of experience in rigging, with proven leadership roles, preferably in shutdown and turnaround projects.
• →Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety regulations.
• →Experience in managing and leading a team of riggers.
• →Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot rigging challenges on site.
• →Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• →Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards is highly preferred.
• →Certification in rigging or related safety training is an advantage.
