We serve high-income professionals and business owners in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a Probate/Guardianship and Estate Planning Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing our probate docket and estate planning processes, utilizing case management software, ensuring meticulous support through legal documentation and client interaction. This role is instrumental in facilitating a seamless, compassionate legal service that upholds our reputation for excellent client care and efficient case management. Core Responsibilities: Draft, review, and file legal documents related to estate planning and probate proceedings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Manage communication with clients, courts, and other relevant parties, providing timely and accurate information and responses. Prioritizing issues linked to deadlines, client communication and the courts. Conduct detailed research and gather information as required to support legal proceedings and client consultations. Create and maintain comprehensive case files and documentation, ensuring information is organized and accessible. Assist in setting hearing dates, preparing for court proceedings, and ensuring all legal obligations are met on schedule. Develop and refine office procedures and document templates to improve efficiency and effectiveness in legal processes. Required Skills: Proficient in time management, with a strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Highly skilled in computer operations and project or case management systems with a strong command of research tools and databases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, and strong attention to detail. Deep understanding of legal terminology and familiarity with the nuances of estate planning and probate law. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Experience interacting and communicating with high earning clientele. Outcomes: 100% Estate planning & 75% Probate Completion Rate Within Case Processing Time 100% Document Accuracy Rate 85% Minimum Client Satisfaction Scores 100% Compliance Legal Process Adherence 100% Task Completion Rate 90% Execution of Professional Development Tasks Quarterly Minimum 1200 Billable Hours Annually 100% Task Completion Rate Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field. At least three years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably within estate planning, probate, or a similar field.
