The Senior Waterfront Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing waterfront projects from conception to completion. This individual will need to have a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on waterfront structures and coastal environments.

• →Prepares project proposals and scopes of work.
• →Supervises, mentors, and develops engineers and technicians.
• →Performs quality control reviews of design plans and project deliverables.
• →Prepares complex technical reports, studies, and memoranda.
• →Supports business development and client relationship initiatives.
• →Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• →Oversees project execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• →Builds and maintains effective relationships with clients, public officials, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• →Leads project meetings and delivers technical presentations.
• →Represents the organization as a liaison with clients, agencies, and professional organizations.
• →Reviews competencies, performance, and priorities annually with their supervisor.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

• Michigan Professional Engineering (PE) license required
• Specialty Certifications preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in waterfront engineering
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Participates in professional organizations and community activities.
