Job Summary
To enable and support minor organisation design changes by applying approved design principles, governance requirements, job architecture standards, and job authoring practices to ensure consistency and quality, while supporting the implementation and embedding of organisation design frameworks, policies, practices, and standards across Human Capital Business Partners and relevant Human Capital Centres of Excellence. To Conduct ongoing organisation health diagnostics, diagnostic insights, and periodic design reviews using dashboards, workforce insights, and design effectiveness measures to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and required interventions.Partner with Human Capital Shared Services to ensure approved structures, roles and accountabilities are accurately implemented, maintained and embedded through effective organisation management and supporting knowledge resources.To develop and implementation of Organisation Design faculty material, related knowledge resources, standards, practices and processes. Drive the implementation and adoption of the OD practices, processes and standards across HC Pan Africa as well as embedment with business to ensure the effectiveness of Organisation Designs are translated into practice adoption.
- Partner with Organisation Design Consultants and business stakeholders to support organisation design initiatives, structural reviews and operating model changes.
- Provide and guide the consistent application of organisation design principles, frameworks, methodologies and enterprise standards.
- Translate enterprise design requirements into business-specific structures, accountabilities and implementation options.
- Assist leaders to define organisation structures, reporting relationships, role clarity and workforce requirements.
- Support organisational design improvements aligned to strategic priorities, operating model objectives, desired organisational design outcomes, and measurable business results.
- Enable organisation design changes through consistent application of approved principles, governance requirements and design standards.
- Drive adoption of organisation design frameworks, standards, naming conventions and accountability architecture across business areas.
- Enable and support Human Capital Business Partners in applying organisation design methodologies, tools and governance processes, including guiding the practical application of these methodologies and tools.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capability building to improve organisation design maturity and consistent application.
- Support the development and implementation of Organisation Design faculty material, related knowledge resources, standards, practices and processes.
- Conduct organisation diagnostics and health assessments using workforce and organisational data.
- Analyse and interpret structural, workforce and capability information to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain organisation design dashboards, metrics and effectiveness measures that support design governance and decision-making.
- Develop insights and recommendations that support informed organisational decision-making and intervention priorities.
- Monitor the impact of organisation design interventions on organisational effectiveness, workforce alignment, design integrity and adoption outcomes.
- Apply organisation design governance frameworks and approval requirements.
- Ensure organisation design recommendations aligned to enterprise standards,policies and approved design principles.
- Support compliance with job architecture, organisation management and role design standards.
- Maintain documentation, records and audit requirements associated with organisation design activities.
- Identify and escalate governance risks, exceptions and data quality issues for review, decision-making and resolution.
- Build effective partnerships with business leaders, Human Capital teams and Centres of Excellence.
- Provide credible organisation design advice and consultation, including recommendations to improve design quality and implementation readiness.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions and working sessions related to organisation design initiatives.
- Support change adoption through engagement, communication and stakeholder alignment activities.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, adoption discipline and organisational effectiveness.
Requirements
~1 min read- Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Management, Industrial Psychology, Commerce or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- Experience in Human Capital management practices and support in organization
- Experience applying organisation frameworks and methodologies
- Experience supporting organisational transformation or operating model initiatives.
- Experience using organisational and workforce analytics to support decision-making.
