Warehouse IBT Clerk

Specializing in premium pet foods and accessories, Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa, with over 200 stores across the country.

Our Gauteng Warehouse Team is looking for an IBT Clerk to join their team to assist with the overseeing and management of IBTs in the warehouse, based in Kempton Park.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Will manage all incoming IBTs from stores—Driver debriefs, ensuring all relevant documents are correct and all stock returned is assigned to a person with a reason
• Must monitor all outgoing IBTs to stores and alert management when there are IBTs older than the agreed age
• Ensure all IBTs are kept current. (None older than 48 hours)
• Immediately investigate any short delivery/over delivery—this must be done as the drivers report on the group daily.
• Utilize Fleetcam to check for any delivery inconsistencies and for IBT discrepancy investigations.
• Flag issues relating to the system, store non-compliance, and warehouse issues that contribute to the increase in IBTs.
• Record damages coming from trucks
• Prepare reports for management
• Clear Think time tickets daily
• Ensure that all good incoming stock is put back into stock after correct processing through the system.
• Accept incoming stock from drivers
