• →Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment as necessary.
• →Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for new and existing equipment.
• →Complete machine work as indicated on job blueprints and manufacturer specifications manuals.
• →Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches.
• →Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
• →Operate conveyor systems, mobile equipment, which includes, backhoes, bulldozers, and rubber-tired bucket loaders to repair to check for proper operation and/or adjustment.
• →Climb up & down rail car ladders to lock & unlock intermodal containers through the transfer process.
• →Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• →Complete written record of work performed.
• →Complete welding repairs to ABS standard.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a construction, industrial maintenance operations.
• The ability to weld is required.
• Must pass and maintain safety/operation requirements of manlift operation.
• Must be able to climb heights and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to a rotating shift, including weekends.
