Senior Analyst — Solvency II Reporting

This is a rare opportunity to join a Solvency II reporting function that is actively investing in how it works — not just maintaining what already exists. As a Senior Analyst, you'll bring deep SII expertise to a team that is mid-journey on a genuine modernization program, with Tagetik at the center of its reporting infrastructure and a real appetite for automation and AI-driven process improvement. You'll have meaningful ownership across the reporting cycle, from QRT production and regulatory change through to capital calculations and audit-ready controls — and you'll be expected to shape how the function evolves, not just run it.

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

• →Own the end-to-end annual reporting schedule, driving data sourcing, QRT population and timely delivery in line with PRA and EIOPA requirements
• →Stay ahead of regulatory change — monitor taxonomy updates from the PRA and EIOPA and take accountability for ensuring QRTs reflect the latest requirements

Capital & Actuarial Calculations

• →Take ownership of SCR calculations as a core member of the Capital Management team, contributing technical depth to the wider actuarial and finance functions

Data, Controls & Audit

• →Maintain a robust data lineage framework spanning all aspects of the Solvency process, partnering with data, finance and business engagement teams to stay ahead of changes to upstream data flows
• →Maintain auditable controls and clear process documentation that stand up to internal and external scrutiny
• →Drive the control framework forward, including peer review, to ensure the function is consistently audit-ready

Systems & Automation

• →Play a leading role in the build-out of automation within Tagetik, working directly with system consultants to translate reporting knowledge into scalable solutions
• →Act as the team's AI advocate — identifying credible opportunities to automate processes and controls and helping move them from idea to implementation

Process Improvement

• →Continuously challenge the status quo, identifying and delivering process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of the reporting cycle

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• →Build trusted relationships across data, finance and business teams, positioning yourself as the go-to person for Solvency data and process questions
• →Lead quarterly discussion forums with senior stakeholders across the full Solvency reporting chain, communicating complex regulatory and technical topics with clarity and confidence

• +5 years of hands-on Solvency II reporting experience 
• Strong working knowledge of QRT production, regulatory submissions and PRA/EIOPA requirements
• Experience with or exposure to Tagetik or a comparable reporting platform
• Familiarity with SCR calculations and Solvency II Best Estimate/Risk Margin, or a solid enough actuarial/finance grounding to engage credibly with Capital Management colleagues
• A track record of building controls and documentation that hold up under audit scrutiny
• Strong communicator — comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and managing relationships across functions
• Genuine curiosity about process improvement and emerging technology, including AI
