Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to understand system behaviors and deliver timely solutions that maintain business continuity and enhance system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to improve performance and security.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Software Development.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platforms.
- Ability to analyze and optimize query performance within data warehouse environments.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving data integration and ETL process issues.
- Familiarity with database security, access controls, and compliance standards.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
