Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. The role requires dynamic problem-solving to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. You will engage in detailed analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline issue resolution and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and support skills.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of database management and operating system fundamentals related to SAP systems.
- Ability to manage system upgrades, patches, and transport management effectively.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
