Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business processes, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Experience in managing database performance, tuning, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery techniques to ensure data integrity.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot database connectivity and security issues.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline routine database tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
