Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of essential applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user feedback to maintain optimal functionality and support business continuity.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system stability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of database management and operating system fundamentals related to SAP systems.
- Ability to manage system upgrades, patches, and transport management effectively.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
