We are looking for an Associate Engineer – Frontend with foundational Node.js exposure, having 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building user-facing web applications and supporting backend services. The role focuses on developing high-quality, maintainable frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js, along with contributing to server-side code using Node.js under guidance. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, understands component-based UI development, and has basic awareness of backend integration patterns.

Responsibilities

→Develop and maintain frontend features using React and, where applicable, Next.js.
→Translate UI designs, wireframes, and Figma specifications into responsive and accessible interfaces.
→Contribute to backend development tasks using Node.js under guidance.
→Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
→Write clean, maintainable code with attention to performance and reliability.
→Develop and maintain basic unit tests for frontend and backend components.
→Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile ceremonies.
→Continuously improve technical skills across frontend and Node.js backend technologies.

Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals including scope, closures, promises, and async programming.
Hands-on experience with React and familiarity with hooks and component lifecycle.
Working knowledge of Next.js concepts such as routing and rendering basics
Foundational experience building simple backend services using Node.js.
Understanding of REST APIs and basic error handling.
Basic experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.
Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve technical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently on assigned tasks.
Good verbal and written communication skills
