Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is also a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture and security standards.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Operations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design principles and best practices.
- Experience in deploying and managing scalable cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and performance optimization in cloud platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Architecture.
- This position is based at our CDC5A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
