Responsibilities

→Support the implementation, administration and optimization of Cloudflare WAF, API Security, Bot Management and Rate Limiting services
→Support Cloudflare Security Analytics and Log Explorer investigations to identify application threats and security risks
→Assist with application threat hunting activities and attack pattern analysis
→Assist with Cloudflare Access and Zero Trust application protection initiatives
→Support DNS Security, SSL/TLS and application delivery configurations
→Monitor and investigate application security events and incidents
→Troubleshoot application access, authentication and web security issues
→Analyze logs and security events to support root cause analysis
→Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
→Collaborate with security, cloud, IAM and application teams to support security initiatives
→Continuously develop Cloudflare and Application Security expertise to support evolving business and security requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related field
2-3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security, Cloud Security or IT Operations
Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, Authentication and Authorization, API Security and modern web application architectures
Familiarity with Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect and Zero Trust concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate security events and troubleshoot technical issues
Ability to create clear technical documentation and operational procedures
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Fluent English communication skills are mandatory

Experience with Cloudflare Application Security
Experience with WAF technologies
Experience with Cloudflare Bot Management
Knowledge of API Security concepts and practices
Experience with Rate Limiting policies and application protection controls
Exposure to Cloudflare Security Analytics and Log Explorer
Exposure to threat hunting and attack pattern analysis
Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and practices
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
Exposure to Azure or AWS environments
Experience working with SIEM platforms

- Cloudflare Application Security Accreditation
- SC-900
- AZ-900
- Security+
- CC
