As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with team members to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions delivered are scalable and perform efficiently. The engineer focuses on understanding business requirements and translating them into effective software products that meet specific organizational needs, while continuously refining and optimizing the software throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document software designs, processes, and code to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used with Databricks environments.
- Experience with data processing and analytics workflows within cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software solutions using modern development practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and debugging techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
