Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the required specifications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving the successful delivery of solutions. Collaboration and communication are key, as the role demands continuous interaction with different teams to align objectives and resolve issues efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Facilitate effective communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Strong knowledge of application design and configuration within the Pega environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Pega applications.
- Ability to integrate Pega solutions with other enterprise systems and technologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
