Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving various components within software systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to create scalable and efficient solutions. Collaboration with different teams to align software capabilities with business requirements is a key part of daily activities, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to master data management and governance.
- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions for:
Business Partner (Customer/Vendor)
Material Master
Financial Master Data
Custom Objects.
- Develop and maintain governance processes for data creation, approval, and maintenance.
I- ntegrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external systems.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement enhancements and custom
developments.
- Perform data migration, data replication, and data quality management activities.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Production deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MDG-related issues.
- Create functional specifications, technical documentation, and user training materials.
- Support business users and provide post-go-live assistance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing custom software solutions tailored to business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within integrated systems.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and master data management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development.

- Strong knowledge of SAP MDG architecture and framework.
- Experience in SAP MDG for:
Business Partner (MDG-BP)
Material Master (MDG-M)
Customer/Vendor Governance
Finance
- Knowledge of Data Quality Management processes.
- Experience with workflow configuration and business rules.

- SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC integration experience.
- Knowledge of:
BRF+
Data Replication Framework (DRF)
SAP Fiori
SAP Workflow
ALE/IDoc integration
- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging and enhancement concepts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
