Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client requirements, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve system reliability. Collaboration with different teams to integrate changes and address issues is a key part of the daily workflow, ensuring that applications meet evolving business needs and operate smoothly across multiple client environments.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve complex technical challenges within projects.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system installation, configuration, and maintenance within SAP environments.
- Experience in managing database administration and performance tuning related to SAP systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP system landscapes and transports.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and backup/recovery procedures in SAP Basis.
- Understanding of security concepts and user administration in SAP platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
