Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and driving the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The lead actively monitors progress, addresses challenges, and facilitates communication across various stakeholders to maintain project momentum and quality.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Promote a culture of innovation and quality within the engineering team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Mendix.
- Strong experience in designing scalable software architectures and implementing best practices in custom software development.
- Ability to lead and coordinate technical teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project timelines.
- Familiarity with software performance optimization and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Skilled in managing software delivery processes, including version control, testing, and deployment strategies.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Pune office.
