As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet business goals while maintaining high standards of quality, scalability, and performance. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with organizational objectives and to foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Role: DevOps Engineer with Java skills responsible for improving operational stability, reliability, and incident management of APAC algorithmic trading systems within the agency trading technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Standard Edition.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based development and deployment practices.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems and automated testing frameworks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
